Anacostia Riverkeeper with partners complete Subsistence Fishing Report

Anacostia Riverkeeper with a coalition of funders and watershed advisors have concluded an in-depth study of the attitudes among Anacostia River anglers about their perceptions of the dangers of fish consumption from the Anacostia River. The Report finds thousands of area anglers consume and share toxic Anacostia fish.  The study shows anglers are generally unaware of fish consumption advisories released by the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
