It was just another day on the Anacostia River yesterday.

A day full of contrasts and contradictions, beauty and betrayal, grand gestures and every day needs.

Here's just some of what happened yesterday on the River ... some of which happens only on certain days, some of which happens more days then it should, and some of which happens quietly everyday - whether anyone notices or not.
