How DC Stopped 3.6 BILLION gallons of pollution with a new tunnel

The DC Clean Rivers Project shows how to stop 3.6 BILLION GALLONS of sewage contaminated runoff from spilling into the Anacostia River (and 150 tons of trash too!). There are 7 miles of tunnel up and running since March. 11 more miles of tunnel will be built by 2030. It's the biggest underground public works project in DC since Metro. Tested by 2018's soaking rains and working. #DCCleanRiversProject #AnacostiaRiverTunnel
