30 Aug Citizen Water Monitoring in MD: New NFWF Grant
Anacostia Riverkeeper has been awarded $45,927 by the National Fish and Wildlife
Foundation (NFWF), with support from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), to extend citizen science water quality monitoring to Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties in Maryland. This allows a more insight into what the water quality is across the Anacostia Watershed and will engage more than 40 citizen volunteers. Citizen monitoring for Maryland sites will start summer 2020.
