POSTPONED DC Citizen Science Water Quality Monitoring

With Mayor Bowser adjusting the District of Columbia’s operating status in response to coronavirus (COVID-19), all non-essential agency events, gatherings and meetings are postponed through April 24.

Working together to understand the health of District of Columbia water, the District of Columbia Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) provided funding to Anacostia Riverkeeper to implement a volunteer-based citizen science water quality monitoring program with the goal of providing up-to-date, weekly water quality data to residents and visitors.
