River Watch DC: Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring Training

Have you ever wondered if its safe to recreate on DC waters? Now’s your chance to help us help you! Beginning May 2019 Anacostia Riverkeeper will lead a coalition of partner organizations across DC in conducting weekly water quality monitoring across all DC waters with the help from citizens across Washington. From the Anacostia River to the Potomac and Rock Creek volunteers from all parts of the District can sign up to help us monitor, transport samples, or conduct recreational surveys. You choose your commitment!

Volunteer monitors will need to attend one of two training sessions in April 2019 to be certified to monitor for this project.
