Fishing at Anacostia River Festival

Anacostia Riverkeeper (ARK) is once again hosting free fishing for families as part of the Anacostia River Festival and this year we will be joined by the District Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE). All gear , including rods, reels, bait, and tackle, will be provided by ARK and DOEE, whose staff will be on hand to instruct and help anglers new and old. All ages are welcome, all minors must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone ages 16-64 fishing in the District of Columbia should have a DC Fishing License, available here: https://doee.dc.gov/service/get-fishing-license
