For the past three summers, volunteers across the District have ventured out on Wednesday mornings to collect valuable recreational water quality data. These volunteers were participating in the DC Citizen Science Water Quality Monitoring program of the Department of Energy and Environment. Anacostia Riverkeeper, Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, Audubon Naturalists Society, Potomac Riverkeeper Network, and Rock Creek Conservancy are excited to share the results of these efforts with you and host a discussion of what this means for recreation in DC.
