From water quality monitoring to advocacy, we constantly strive to ensure a swimmable and fishable Anacostia. Through boots-on-the-ground restoration programs like Clean Waterways trash cleanups, green infrastructure, and stormwater education, we continue the Anacostia River’s progress to resurgence. Our programs ensure that everyone has free and easy access to enjoy our shared river.
